Watch: MPs vet Public Service CS nominee Geoffrey Ruku
The vetting process is being handled by the National Assembly Committee on Appointments. The committee will later table its report before the National Assembly.
A panel of MPs, led by National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang'ula, began the vetting of President William Ruto's Cabinet nominees on Monday. The afternoon session saw Public Service Cabinet Secretary nominee Geoffrey Ruku face the panel.
Ruku, the current Member of Parliament for Mbeere North, was nominated for the Public Service docket last month by President Ruto as part of his recent Cabinet reshuffle.

His nomination follows the removal of Justin Muturi, whose tenure ended after a fallout with President Ruto.
